Bitmine's $300M Stake and Fidelity's Staking Rewards Boost Ethereum Price
Ethereum's price is gaining attention due to two significant developments. Bitmine has staked nearly $300 million in ETH, and Fidelity is introducing staking rewards to its Ethereum ETF.
This move could support higher prices as large holders lock up their ETH, reducing the supply available on exchanges. According to Arkham Intelligence, Bitmine staked $289.4 million worth of ETH over the past week alone, making it a significant player with 4.2% of the total Ethereum supply staked.
Fidelity's decision to add quarterly staking payments to its Ethereum Fund (FETH) is also noteworthy. This feature allows investors to earn returns on their investments in the form of cash payouts, similar to Grayscale and 21Shares' staking-enabled funds.
