BitMine's Ethereum Holdings Soar to 5.9 Million Tokens

BitMine Immersion Technologies has made a massive shift in its Ethereum holdings. In July 2025, the company's treasury held just 163K tokens. Fast forward one year and it now holds 5,929,198 ETH, making it the largest single stash of Ethereum among all holders.

This near-vertical climb from under a million ETH to almost 6 million in September 2026 has significantly boosted BitMine's treasury value, which is now worth $15.7 billion when combined with its other crypto positions and 'moonshot' bets.

In a separate move, BitMine has exited its staking deal with Ethereum Tower, replacing it with a new contract that strips the revenue-sharing fee to 1.50% of staking rewards on its staked ETH. This change may not seem significant at first glance but will become more consequential as the staking pile grows.

The market seems to have already priced in BitMine's ETH buying and staking cleanup, with BMNR stock pulling back from its peak near $27.50 to around $24.48.
