Bitmine's Ethereum Holdings Surpass $15B as Staking Revenue Soars
Bitmine has significantly increased its Ethereum holdings, adding 28,086 ETH to its treasury in just one week. This latest acquisition brings Bitmine's total Ethereum position to 5,929,198 ETH, worth approximately $14.79 billion at the current price of $2,495 per ETH.
Bitmine has been steadily accumulating Ethereum since June 30, 2025, and its strategy is not just about holding onto the asset. The company has staked a substantial portion of its Ethereum holdings, with around 85% of its total position currently generating annualized staking revenue of roughly $330 million.
According to Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, the company's scale sets it apart from other public companies, and he expects multiple positive catalysts for Ethereum in the final months of 2026. Technical analyst Tom DeMark also sees recent price consolidation as constructive, implying a continuation of the prior uptrend.
Bitmine's concentration on Ethereum makes its treasury one of the most significant exposures to the asset in public markets. If Ethereum's price breaks higher, Bitmine's treasury could amplify the upside, while a decline would have the opposite effect.
