Bitmine's Ethereum Treasury Hits 4.9% of Supply
Bitmine Immersion Technologies, a blockchain infrastructure company listed on the NYSE as BMNR, has reached a new milestone in its Ethereum treasury. As of September 13, the company holds 5,956,378 ETH, equivalent to 4.9% of the total supply, according to a Form 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company's chairman, Thomas 'Tom' Lee, attributed the accumulation of Ethereum to its role in Wall Street tokenization and agentic AI. He also projected annualized staking revenues of around $334 million, rising to $392 million once the full treasury is staked.
Bitmine has been steadily increasing its Ethereum holdings since launching its treasury strategy on June 30, 2025. The company now holds over $15.8 billion in combined crypto, cash, and marketable securities, with a stake of 212 Bitcoin and $549 million in cash and marketable securities.
The company's staking operations generated a 7-day annualized yield of 2.62%, according to the filing. Bitmine claims to be the world's largest Ethereum treasury, second only to Strategy among corporate crypto holders.
