Bitnomial Launches Regulated Tron Futures Trading for US Investors
Chicago-based derivatives exchange and clearinghouse Bitnomial is expanding its offerings in the US market by launching Tron ($TRX) futures trading for eligible individual and institutional investors. This move follows its acquisition by Payward, the parent company of Kraken, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges globally.
The addition of $TRX futures is significant as it provides a new tool for US investors to gain exposure to Tron's price movements without directly holding the underlying asset. Bitnomial's platform is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and offers a federally regulated venue for digital asset derivatives trading.
The integration of Bitnomial into Kraken's ecosystem will provide access to liquidity and customer base, potentially accelerating adoption of its futures products, including the new $TRX contracts. However, investors should be aware that crypto futures trading carries significant risk due to price volatility and leverage.
