Bitnomial Unveils TRX Futures Trading for US Investors
Bitnomial, a Chicago-based derivatives exchange and clearinghouse, is set to launch Tron (TRX) futures trading for U.S. investors. This move follows Bitnomial's acquisition by Payward, the parent company of Kraken, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges globally.
The addition of TRX futures marks a notable expansion of regulated crypto derivatives in the U.S. market. As a federally registered exchange with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Bitnomial provides a compliant platform for digital asset derivatives trading.
Tron's native token, TRX, is one of the largest blockchain networks by total value locked and daily active users. By offering futures contracts tied to TRX, Bitnomial is providing U.S. investors with a new tool to gain exposure to the token's price movements without directly holding the underlying asset.
The launch of TRX futures comes at a time when the crypto derivatives market is experiencing rapid growth, driven by institutional interest and the maturation of regulated infrastructure.
