BITO Fund Experiences First Chill After Red-Hot Summer Rally
The ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF, also known as the BITO fund, experienced its first significant outflow after a strong summer rally. On September 3rd, the fund saw withdrawals of $9.57 million, reducing its risk exposure.
This withdrawal represents about 0.58% of the fund's total assets under management, which currently stand at around $1.65 billion. Despite this modest decline, the scale of redemptions suggests that some investors may be locking in profits or rotating into spot exposure as Bitcoin hovers near record territory.
The related asset, BTC-USD, has surged about 30.48% over the past three months, reaching a price of $79,634.99. The technical signal remains strong, with a one-day indicator still showing a 'Strong Buy' for bulls.
