Bitpoint to Discontinue Trading for Six Cryptocurrency Assets
Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Bitpoint announced that it will discontinue trading for six assets on October 28th at 13:00. The affected assets are BNB, DEP, JMY/JASMY, OSHI, PEPE, and TRUMP.
The decision was made after a comprehensive review of the exchange's cryptocurrency offerings to ensure stable services for customers, according to Bitpoint.
Purchase services for these assets will end on October 7th at 16:00, while sale services and withdrawal processing will terminate on October 28th at 13:00. Existing orders in Bitpoint Pro will be automatically canceled.
Bitpoint notes that it has not offered withdrawal services for BNB, PEPE, or TRUMP until now, but started offering withdrawals for these assets from September 4th.
The exchange will handle the remaining assets in customer accounts by selling them at a suitable time and price, converting the proceeds to Japanese yen, and crediting the customer's account.
