Bitroot Brings Lightning-Fast Layer-1 Infrastructure to Bitcoin Asia 2026

Bitroot is showcasing its parallel-EVM infrastructure at Bitcoin Asia 2026 in Hong Kong, where the project's Chief Strategy Officer Jerry Jiang will join a conference panel. The event marks the culmination of three months of technical and ecosystem milestones for Bitroot.

In May, Bitroot completed a core re-architecture, migrating its engine from Go to Rust and introducing parallel Merkle verification, lock-free mempool, and a five-stage execution pipeline. This upgrade has lifted throughput to over 100,000 transactions per second (TPS) with a finality of 0.3 seconds.

Its public testnet has surpassed 300,000 addresses, with a native decentralized exchange (DEX), bridge, explorer, and faucet all live. Bitroot has also activated Node Staking and Liquid Staking (LSD), with total staked BRT exceeding 100 million through its Task Platform 2.0.

The project closed an Africa Ecosystem Round at $2 per BRT and held its first in-person community meetup in Kenya, underscoring a global expansion strategy targeting AI infrastructure, RWA, and Physical AI. Bitroot is positioning itself as base-layer infrastructure for the emerging machine economy, where AI agents and real-world applications demand throughput and latency that general-purpose chains cannot deliver.
