BitSafe Launches Decentralization Manager for Resilient DeFi Applications
BitSafe has launched Decentralization Manager, an open-sourced framework for building resilient decentralized financial applications on the Canton Network. The project is backed by a $1 million+ grant from the Canton Foundation Development Fund.
The Decentralization Manager allows institutions to build products that distribute control across multiple independent operators, providing audit trails and distributed trust. This infrastructure was previously built from scratch by every team developing on Canton.
Decentralization Manager ships with pre-built frameworks for token issuance, custody, and multi-signature wallets, as well as enabling additional products such as tokenized real-world assets and securities, DEXs, lending, and structured products.
Palladium Labs is the first builder to announce using Decentralization Manager to enable multi-party authorization for protocol operations. The framework has already been implemented by CBTC Attestors Nethermind, DSRV, and Finoa Consensus Services.
