BitSafe Launches Decentralization Manager on Canton Network
A major milestone has been reached in the development of decentralized financial applications on the Canton Network. BitSafe, the company behind the infrastructure, has launched Decentralization Manager, an open-sourced framework that enables apps and institutions to build resilient products distributing control across multiple independent operators.
Backed by a grant of over $1 million from the Canton Foundation Development Fund, BitSafe's Decentralization Manager marks an exciting expansion of on-chain use cases. It allows institutions to continue leveraging the network's privacy-native architecture while mitigating risk by distributing their operations.
The framework ships with pre-built frameworks for token issuance and custody, as well as enabling additional products such as decentralized exchanges (DEXs), lending, and structured products. Institutional-grade financial applications can now be launched on Canton, a significant step forward in the growth of digital assets and tokenized financial markets.
