BitSafe has launched the public beta of Decentralization Manager, an open-sourced framework for building decentralized financial applications on Canton Network. This move is backed by a $1M+ grant from the Canton Foundation Development Fund.

The Decentralization Manager allows teams to build resilient products that distribute control across multiple independent operators, making it easier to meet institutional application standards. It includes pre-built frameworks for token issuance and custody, as well as enabling additional products such as decentralized exchanges (DEXs), lending, and structured products.

CBTC is the first live use case of Decentralization Manager, with over 10 million transactions to date. Node operators powering CBTC already earn a share of Canton fees from on-chain transactions.

The public beta is open now on the Canton Foundation's GitHub, and builders can reach out to BitSafe to be matched with vetted, institutional-grade node operators.
