BitSafe Unveils Decentralization Manager for Resilient Financial Applications
Canton Network has become critical infrastructure for institutions bringing real capital and operations on-chain. To support this growth, BitSafe has released Decentralization Manager, an open-sourced framework allowing apps and institutions to build resilient products that distribute control across multiple independent operators.
Backed by a Canton Foundation Development Fund grant of over $1 million (8,500,000 $CC ($0.12 · Live)), the public beta of Decentralization Manager is now available on the Canton Foundation's GitHub. This framework makes reusable threshold custody, governance, and audit infrastructure that teams building on Canton previously had to build from scratch.
Decentralization Manager enables institutions to launch institutional-grade financial applications with features such as token issuance, custody and multi-signature wallets, tokenized real-world assets and securities, DEXs, lending, and structured products. The framework has already been implemented by CBTC Attestors Nethermind, DSRV, and Finoa Consensus Services.
Palladium Labs is the first builder announced using Decentralization Manager to enable multi-party authorization for protocol operations. 'Distributed trust and full auditability are table stakes for institutional-grade credit infrastructure like Alpend,' said Akshay Sinha, Cofounder & CTO of Palladium Labs. 'Decentralization Manager makes that a framework the entire Canton ecosystem can build on.'
