BitSafe has launched Decentralization Manager, an open-sourced framework for building decentralized financial applications on Canton Network. The framework is backed by a $1 million grant from the Canton Foundation Development Fund and allows institutions to create resilient products that distribute control across multiple operators.

Decentralization Manager ships with pre-built frameworks for token issuance, custody, and multi-signature wallets, as well as support for tokenized real-world assets and securities. The framework has already been adopted by several institutions, including Palladium Labs, which is using it to enable multi-party authorization for protocol operations.

Viv Diwakar, Head of the Canton Foundation, said that 'the future of institutional blockchain depends on making sophisticated infrastructure easier to build and adopt.' He added that Decentralization Manager gives developers the tools to create resilient, privacy-preserving applications that distribute trust across independent operators without compromising governance and control.
