Bitwise Explores Blockchain Share Ownership for BSOL ETF

Bitwise Asset Management has partnered with Superstate to explore tokenizing shares in its Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) through a collaboration. The partnership aims to allow investors to hold shares of select Bitwise funds in tokenized form, starting with BSOL.

The core characteristics of the shares would remain unchanged under this structure. Investors could opt to keep their shares in conventional book-entry format handled by The Depository Trust Company or switch to a tokenized version recorded on a blockchain and administered through Superstate’s transfer-agency systems.

Tokenized holdings would not be freely transferable outside that designated recordkeeping environment, but investors could still retain identical economic, voting, and other rights. Bitwise emphasized that any rollout of the tokenized option depends on meeting all relevant legal and regulatory standards.
