Bitwise Kills Off Dogecoin ETF After Just Nine Months

Bitwise Investment Advisors announced it will terminate and liquidate its Dogecoin ETF (BWOW) on October 14, just under a year after its debut on November 26, 2025. The decision aims to 'optimize its product lineup for investor demand.'

The last trading day for BWOW is set for October 14, with shareholders needing to complete transactions by the close of trading that day. Trading activity will cease before NYSE Arca's opening bell on October 15.

Bitwise plans to liquidate BWOW's Dogecoin position into U.S. dollars on October 14, with final net asset value calculations occurring on October 21 and cash distributions processed the following day on October 22.
