Bitwise Investment Advisers has announced plans to liquidate and close its Dogecoin ETF, BWOW, by October 14, 2026. The final trading day for the fund will be on NYSE Arca, after which DOGE holdings will be converted to cash. Shareholders will receive the net asset value in cash on October 22, 2026.

The closure is part of Bitwise's efforts to 'optimize its product range' and evolve investors' needs. The company has coordinated with NYSE Arca to ensure an orderly delisting and liquidation process. New share creations will stop before the market opens on October 15, 2026.

Dogecoin remains active in the market, trading near $0.084, while recent developments include its integration into the Solana ecosystem. Analysts see a cup-and-handle setup taking shape, with $0.10 emerging as the next resistance level.
