Bitwise Solana ETF Hits $1 Billion Inflows Despite Sharp Decline
The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) has reached a milestone of $1 billion in cumulative investor inflows, becoming the first single US spot Solana fund to achieve this mark.
This feat was accomplished in just over 10 months since its launch on October 28, 2025, despite the fund's shares trading at around 40% below their listing price and Solana (SOL) sitting 60% off its all-time high.
The key to this success lies in the fund's staking yield, which is earning a net annual reward rate of 5.80%. This income is paid in SOL and continues to accrue regardless of the price movement of Solana.
Institutional investors, such as registered investment advisers and family offices, are driving this growth as they seek to earn a yield from an asset that cannot be held directly due to regulatory constraints.
