Bitwise Solana ETF Surpasses $1 Billion in Assets
Bitwise's Solana Staking ETF has reached an asset milestone of $1 billion in less than ten months after its launch. The fund, known as BSOL, surpassed this level on August 26 and is now the first individual Solana ETF to reach it. BSOL held approximately 9.33 million SOL worth around $1.018 billion at the time.
According to Eric Balchunas, a senior Bloomberg ETF analyst, most of the $1.7 billion accumulated inflows in the Solana fund category have been retained by BSOL and other Solana funds. The products have seen very little redemptions despite SOL's decline during the first half of 2026.
BSOL reported that 96% of its assets were staked, with a net reward rate of 5.80%. Bitwise has stated that it delegates most of its SOL to validators and adds the resulting rewards to the fund. The company also warned that staking rewards can change and are not guaranteed.
