Bitwise's $74.9M Stake in HYPE Tokens Sets New Benchmark for Institutional Crypto Adoption

Bitwise's BHYP spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) has taken a significant step in the adoption of institutional crypto investments by staking approximately $74.9 million worth of HYPE, the native token of the Hyperliquid protocol.

This milestone marks a relatively new approach to integrating staking into regulated investment products, as confirmed by on-chain data that shows the fund's ongoing accumulation and staking activity.

According to blockchain tracking platform Onchain Lens, an address associated with BHYP added 188,790 HYPE worth around $15.19 million to staking just two hours ago.
