Bitwise's Solana ETF Surpasses $1B in Cumulative Net Inflows
Bitwise's Solana ETF (BSOL) has reached $1 billion in cumulative net inflows, just ten months after its launch on the NYSE. This milestone was achieved despite a relatively quiet climb, with BSOL capturing 66% of the $60.91 million that entered all nine US spot Solana ETFs on August 27.
The combined AUM of all nine funds reached $1.49 billion, and total daily trading volume hit $196.82 million. Grayscale's GSOL drew $6.22 million, Fidelity's FSOL added $5.82 million, and Morgan Stanley's MSOL attracted $4.74 million.
Solana traded above $105 on August 27, up approximately 44% for the month and at its highest level since January. The price move was accompanied by two structural catalysts: Charles Schwab added SOL access to its 39.9 million brokerage accounts, and the Solana network concluded its first formal on-chain governance vote.
Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley noted that BSOL attracted nearly $1 billion in inflows even as SOL's price dropped from $225 to $60 during the first half of the year. This suggests institutional allocators are treating Solana as a portfolio-grade asset rather than a speculative token.
