Bitwise's XRP ETF Surpasses $500M in Assets Amid Crypto Market Volatility
Bitwise's XRP ETF has achieved a significant milestone in just nine months since its launch. The fund, which began trading on the NYSE on November 20, 2025, has surpassed $500 million in assets under management (AUM). Bitwise announced this achievement on August 31, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to expand mainstream access to XRP and provide investors with exposure to the asset.
The pace of AUM growth is noteworthy when compared to XRP's price performance. Despite a 66% decline in XRP's value from its 2026 high, continued capital inflows have helped offset this effect. Since reaching a local low in mid-August, the acceleration of AUM growth has been particularly visible.
Bitwise is not the only major player in the XRP ETF space. Franklin Templeton's XRPZ product attracted approximately $28.7 million during the August 24-28 week, making it a clear challenger to Bitwise in terms of recent momentum. Canary Capital's XRPC remains one of the larger products overall, while Grayscale's GXRP and 21Shares' TOXR operate on a significantly smaller scale.
