BlackRock and Fidelity Dominate Bitcoin ETF Rebound
The Bitcoin ETF market has rebounded from three consecutive sessions of net capital outflows. On one day, Bitcoin ETFs received $297.56 million in inflows, a significant turnaround. BlackRock's IBIT fund led the session with $160.23 million in new flows, followed by Fidelity's FBTC fund with $111.90 million.
Together, these two funds concentrated more than 90% of the total captured during the day. ARK 21Shares' ARKB fund and Morgan Stanley's MSBT fund also contributed to the influx, but at a smaller scale. The trading volume across Bitcoin ETFs reached $2.12 billion, with combined net assets closing at $77.41 billion.
Jane Street disclosed positions exceeding $1 billion in spot Bitcoin ETFs, with approximately $828 million concentrated in BlackRock's IBIT fund. Harvard Management Company kept its IBIT position unchanged during the second quarter, valuing 3,044,612 shares at $101.4 million as of late June.
Ethereum funds also regained ground, adding $30.85 million across three funds. BlackRock's ETHA fund received the largest share, around $25.90 million; Fidelity's FETH fund and Bitwise's ETHW captured smaller amounts.
