BlackRock and Fidelity Dominate US Bitcoin ETF Inflows Amid Holiday Break
The US Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a significant drop in inflows on Friday, September 4, 2026. The total net inflow for the day was $174.6 million, which is 76.1% lower than Thursday's net inflow of $730.8 million.
Only two funds from BlackRock and Fidelity recorded positive net flows: iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) with $117.4 million and Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) with $57.2 million. The other ten funds showed zero net flows, but this does not necessarily mean they were inactive.
Fidelity clarifies that investors can buy and sell these products during stock-market hours, while authorized participants create and redeem fund shares.
The slowdown in Bitcoin ETF inflows follows the surge in the preceding session. The next completed session will show whether Bitcoin ETF inflows spread beyond IBIT and FBTC again.
