BlackRock Clients Pour Over $700M into Bitcoin Through Regulated Vehicles

BlackRock's clients have been buying up Bitcoin in large quantities through the firm's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), with the latest purchase totaling $183.41 million.

This is just one of several nine-figure inflow days for BlackRock's clients this year, with similar purchases on July 6 ($209 million) and July 15 ($139 million).

Since January, BlackRock has acquired over $700 million worth of Bitcoin through IBIT, including a single-day purchase in January that remains one of the largest on record.

The firm now holds an estimated 734,000 BTC under its custodianship and maintains around 50-60% market share of all spot Bitcoin ETF assets this year.
