BlackRock Dominates $216M US Spot Bitcoin ETF Inflow as Altcoin Funds Surge
US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a significant turnaround on Monday, reversing outflows from the prior trading session. The sector attracted $216.7 million in net inflows, following a day of $201.8 million in withdrawals.
This interruption marked the end of a nine-day streak of inflows that had brought more than $3 billion into the market. Bitcoin was trading at around $78,700 at the time, representing a 1.5% gain over the previous 24 hours.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) led the charge, contributing $205.9 million to the sector's net inflows, which accounted for approximately 95% of the total daily investment. Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) followed with $6.9 million in new investments.
Other Bitcoin ETFs also recorded positive returns, including Bitwise's Bitcoin ETF (BITB), Morgan Stanley's Bitcoin Trust, and Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust. However, VanEck's Bitcoin ETF (HODL) was the only offering to post net outflows, totaling $13.4 million.
