BlackRock's spot crypto ETFs drew $305 million of U.S. inflows on August 5, capturing over 80% of the day's total flows.

The majority of this influx went into BlackRock's IBIT and ETHA, with $197 million entering IBIT and $50.34 million flowing into ETHA.

This marks a significant milestone for institutional investment in crypto, with BlackRock solidifying its position as the leading issuer of spot crypto ETFs.

The concentration of assets in one issuer raises concerns about market structure and regulatory risks, but it also signals strong demand from institutions for exposure to Bitcoin and Ethereum.
