Blackrock-Driven Demand Powers $310M into Bitcoin and Ether ETFs
Blackrock's dominance in driving demand for exchange-traded funds (ETFs) continued this month, as Bitcoin and Ether ETFs pulled in a combined $310 million. On Monday alone, Bitcoin ETFs attracted $216.70 million, led by a massive $205.91 million inflow into Blackrock's IBIT. This brings the monthly total to $3.52 billion, the strongest since October 2025.
The recovery from Friday's $202 million withdrawal shows that investors remain bullish on Bitcoin, with its price increasing by roughly 25% during August. The final trading session of the month left Bitcoin ETF assets within touching distance of $100 billion, closing at $99.61 billion.
Ether ETFs also saw significant inflows, adding $87.68 million for an 11th consecutive session. This surge in demand is driving the price of Ether up, and its ETF assets now stand at $15.61 billion.
