BlackRock-Driven Inflow Surge Signals Institutional Confidence in Bitcoin
The latest data from spot Bitcoin ETF inflows shows a significant surge in interest on July 30, 2026. According to The Cryptonomist, $233 million flowed into these funds on that day alone. This marks a notable reversal of the trend seen in previous weeks.
BlackRock's IBIT ETF was the driving force behind this influx, absorbing $183 million, roughly 79% of the total inflows. This dominance is not surprising given BlackRock's influence as the world's largest asset manager. Its gravitational pull is undeniable, and other fund providers follow its lead.
On the other hand, spot Ethereum ETFs saw a more modest gain, attracting $13 million on July 30. BlackRock's ETHA ETF led this category once again. The discrepancy in inflows between Bitcoin and Ethereum highlights differing institutional views on each asset. Institutional interest in Bitcoin is strengthening, seen as a mature store-of-value play within a regulated wrapper.
