BlackRock Enters Stablecoin Market with Tokenized Money Funds
BlackRock has expanded its digital asset strategy by launching two new tokenized money market assets. The products, previously submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in May, are targeted at the growing crypto stablecoin market.
The move aims to meet the standards set by the $GENIUS Act, which considers a reserve asset as one that meets certain requirements. BlackRock is seeking a license under this act for its new products.
