BlackRock, Fidelity Buck Trend as Bitcoin ETF Inflows Plummet
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw significant inflows fall by 76.1% on Friday, September 4th, just before the Labor Day break. According to Farside Investors' daily table, only two funds from BlackRock and Fidelity attracted fresh money, while the remaining ten products showed zero net flows.
The two successful funds were BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT), which recorded $117.4 million in net inflows, and Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC), with $57.2 million. These figures are 76.1% below the previous day's net inflow of $730.8 million.
The slowdown in inflows comes after a surge in Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs on Thursday. This week's results show that the two successful funds were not alone in attracting investors, but their positive flows narrowed from seven to just two.
