BlackRock Leads Bitcoin ETF Inflows to $101.7M Over Five Consecutive Days
U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded net inflows of $101.7 million on August 7, extending their streak to five consecutive trading sessions.
This surge in demand is led by BlackRock's IBIT, which attracted $86.7 million, followed by Fidelity's FBTC with $41.0 million.
The approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs in January 2024 has opened the door for traditional financial institutions and wealth managers to gain exposure without the operational complexities of direct cryptocurrency custody.
Market analysts attribute the recent inflows to growing acceptance of Bitcoin as a portfolio diversifier, increased clarity around U.S. regulatory frameworks, and improved risk-on environment due to Federal Reserve officials' hints at possible rate cuts.
