BlackRock Leads Bitcoin Spot ETF Surge with $694M Net Inflows
Bitcoin spot ETFs have been attracting significant investment this week, with net inflows totaling $854 million from August 3 to August 7. According to SoSoValue data, BlackRock's IBIT ETF led the way with a whopping $694 million in net inflows, bringing its historical total to $61.17 billion.
This is not surprising given the growing popularity of Bitcoin spot ETFs, which allow investors to gain exposure to the cryptocurrency without actually holding it. As of press time, the total net asset value of these ETFs stands at $79.50 billion, with a net asset ratio (market value as a percentage of Bitcoin's total market cap) of 6.10%.
The numbers are impressive, but not all Bitcoin spot ETFs are seeing growth. VanEck's HODL ETF, for example, experienced net outflows of $53.4753 million this week, leaving its historical total net inflows at $1.09 billion.
