BlackRock has made it easier for large Bitcoin holders to increase their exposure through the BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT). The company reduced the minimum threshold for in-kind Bitcoin-to-IBIT conversions from $25 million to $1 million.

In an interview, BlackRock's digital-assets head Robbie Mitchnick noted that in-kind creations have been a growing number over the past three quarters and said 'there's some manualness to the transaction that needs to be undertaken'.
