BlackRock made headlines yesterday by transferring 3,126 BTC, valued at approximately $203 million, from its IBIT account to an unnamed exchange. This move has been closely watched in the crypto community as it signals a significant shift in institutional investment strategies.

The Russian Central Bank took a more cautious approach, lowering its benchmark interest rate to 14.00%, below market expectations of 14.25%. Meanwhile, the US manufacturing PMI preliminary value came in at 53.8, falling short of expectations, while services PMI rose to 53.6, exceeding forecasts.

The EU has imposed its 21st round of sanctions on Russia, including restrictions on 14 crypto asset service platforms. This move is seen as a tightening of the noose around Russian economic activities. The US government's stance on Bitcoin also came into focus, with Galaxy Digital founder Nic Carter stating that they will use quantum technology to crack it.
