BlackRock Unleashes $1.3B on Bitcoin in Biggest Weekly Purchase Since October
BlackRock's biggest Bitcoin purchase since October last year signals renewed institutional confidence in the digital asset. According to blockchain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence, BlackRock bought $1.33 billion worth of BTC last week.
This represents more than half of the total $2.17 billion accumulated by the company since the July 1 low. The significant acceleration in buying momentum is a strong signal that institutional investors are increasingly turning to Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation and currency devaluation.
BlackRock's actions are seen as a vote of confidence in Bitcoin's long-term viability, particularly amid relative stability in prices. As the world's largest asset manager, its moves can influence market sentiment and potentially drive further adoption.
