BlackRock Unveils Blockchain-Based Money Market Options for Institutional Clients

Share

BlackRock has expanded its tokenized cash offerings with new blockchain-based money market products. The move is part of the company's efforts to increase investment options for institutional clients.

The new offerings will be available through BlackRock's Aladdin platform, which provides a suite of investment management tools and services.

According to CoinDesk, this expansion is an attempt to tap into growing demand from investors looking for ways to access cash investments on the blockchain. 'We're excited about the opportunity to provide our clients with more flexible and innovative investment options,' said a BlackRock spokesperson.

The new products will allow institutional investors to invest in money market funds that have been tokenized, or converted into digital tokens, on the blockchain. This allows for increased efficiency, transparency, and flexibility in managing cash investments.
