BlackRock's Altcoin ETF Expansion Predicted by ETF Store President

Nate Geraci, president of ETF Store, predicted that BlackRock will eventually expand its spot crypto ETF lineup beyond Bitcoin and Ether. He cited the growth of competing altcoin products and BlackRock's broad fund business.

BlackRock currently offers spot crypto exposure only to Bitcoin and Ether through its iShares products. The company has a significant presence in the market, with IBIT holding $60.52 billion in net assets as of August 26.

Geraci noted that it's 'wild' BlackRock hasn't launched a spot product for another cryptocurrency or a multi-asset crypto index yet. He interpreted this absence as an implicit judgment that other digital assets lack sufficient investment value, although BlackRock has not publicly stated this.
