BlackRock's Crypto Holdings Soar $4.8 Billion in July on Bitcoin, Ethereum Gains
BlackRock's crypto portfolio has seen significant growth in July, surging by $4.8 billion from $49.15 billion on July 1 to $53.95 billion on July 28.
The increase is attributed to the rise in value of BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT), which saw its value surge by $3.64 billion, and the iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), which registered an increase of $1.16 billion.
Bitcoin price has added $5,202, or 8.65%, in July, trading at roughly $65,330 at the time of publication, while Ethereum price has increased by over 21% in July, trading at $1,952 at press time.
