BlackRock's Dominance in Bitcoin ETF Market Continues Unabated
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) drew in an enormous $277.6 million on August 27, dwarfing the combined net inflows of all other US Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which totaled just $242.3 million that day.
This means IBIT accounted for a staggering 115% of the market's net result, highlighting its dominance in the space.
In contrast, Fidelity's FBTC and Grayscale's GBTC experienced significant redemptions, losing $83.6 million and $27.2 million, respectively.
However, smaller products like Bitwise's BITB and ARK 21Shares' ARKB managed to attract a combined $75.5 million in inflows, partially offsetting the pressure from larger funds.
The numbers underscore IBIT's remarkable influence on the broader Bitcoin ETF market, which has now experienced nine consecutive trading sessions with net inflows.
