BlackRock's Ethereum ETF Soars as Clients Pour In $1 Billion
BlackRock's Ethereum ETF, iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), has experienced a significant surge in investor demand over the past nine trading sessions. According to data from Farside Investors and SoSoValue, ETHA attracted approximately $1.02 billion in net inflows between August 17 and August 27, with no day of net selling.
This represents roughly 72% of all U.S. spot Ethereum ETF inflows during that period, with the broader category bringing in about $1.42 billion over the same nine sessions.
Arkham Intelligence tracked on-chain purchases, linking the inflows to BlackRock-linked client demand rather than a firm-direct buy. Coinbase Prime executed the ETH acquisitions for the ETF, converting investor capital into roughly 385,000 ETH at an average cost of $2,500.
