BlackRock's Ethereum ETFs Outperform Bitcoin Funds in Recent Trading Period
BlackRock's Ethereum-focused ETFs have attracted more capital than its Bitcoin-focused funds over a recent five-day period, according to data. Between July 20 and July 24, BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) and ETHB recorded a combined net inflow of $99.2 million.
This comes as the broader U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF market experienced outflows of $95.5 million during the same period. The data suggests that institutional investors are increasingly allocating capital to Ethereum, which has seen growing demand in July and is being driven by stronger sentiment and tokenization activity.
Ethereum's price hovered near $1,860 during this time, while Bitcoin traded around $65,000 after rebounding from June lows. This trend could signal a shift in demand if it continues, with Ethereum outperforming Bitcoin at times in July alongside growing institutional inflows.
