BlackRock's IBIT Dominates Spot Bitcoin ETF Inflows
The U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw significant net inflows on August 3, reversing a streak of outflows. According to Farside Investors data, these funds recorded approximately $170.1 million in net inflows, with BlackRock's IBIT leading the charge at $111.4 million.
Fidelity's FBTC added $33.4 million, while other funds such as Bitwise BITB, ARK Invest ARKB, Invesco BTCO, Franklin Templeton EZBC, and VanEck HODL also saw positive flows. The inflows indicate broad-based investor interest across multiple issuers.
The data suggests that some investors are using price dips to increase their positions in spot Bitcoin ETFs, a pattern observed in previous market cycles. However, analysts note that flows can change quickly and the market remains sensitive to macroeconomic factors such as interest rates and regulatory news.
