BlackRock's IBIT ETF Swoops Up 7.32K BTC in Latest Institutional Investment Push
BlackRock's IBIT Bitcoin ETF continues to attract significant investment, adding nearly half a billion dollars' worth of BTC this week. The fund drew in 7.32K BTC (~$478.5M) through its IBIT Bitcoin ETF, with a notable withdrawal of 1.84K BTC (~$118.9M) from Coinbase Prime on a single day.
This influx of capital comes as the market experiences sustained institutional demand, reinforcing current price prediction models and crypto trends. The technical confluence in play favors continuation towards higher targets before any test of support.
The IBIT Bitcoin ETF's accumulation of BTC occurs while the asset trades at $64,918.79 within its Bollinger Bands, pressing against upper resistance at $65,195.54 with an RSI(14) reading of 61.0 and a MACD holding a golden cross at 277.97.
The EMA50 at $64,221.05 and EMA200 at $63,673.41 sit below the current price as layered support, creating a robust technical landscape for BTC to continue its upward momentum.
