BlackRock's IBIT Leads Spot Bitcoin ETF Outflows to $265M
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led US spot Bitcoin ETFs in outflows on July 31, with $122.7 million in redemptions. This accounted for nearly half of the day's total withdrawals of $265.4 million.
The previous day had seen inflows of $233.1 million, but this brief reprieve was short-lived. IBIT alone pulled in $183.4 million on July 30.
While IBIT's net assets still sit at approximately $46.52 billion, down from $47.67 billion the previous day, its single-day outflow of $122.7 million wasn't even close to its worst day. That distinction belongs to a session in May 2026, when the fund recorded roughly $528 million in single-day outflows.
The Q2 2026 quarter marked the third consecutive quarter of net outflows for US spot Bitcoin ETFs as a group. The cumulative withdrawals in Q2 exceeded those in Q1, and total assets under management across all US spot Bitcoin ETFs remain relatively stable near $105 billion.
