BlackRock's IBIT Swallows $128M in Bitcoin Amid ETF Inflow Surge
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) has absorbed an additional $128.3 million in Bitcoin on Wednesday, capping a three-day run that saw total weekly inflows across U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds exceed $626 million.
The buying spree underscores a revival in institutional appetite for regulated crypto exposure, even as retail sentiment remains mired in extreme fear.
According to data from SoSoValue, the 11 U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $244.4 million on Wednesday alone, extending a streak that began Monday. Over three sessions, they have now vacuumed up roughly $626 million in fresh capital, marking one of the strongest concentrated inflow periods since the spring.
BlackRock's IBIT dominated the surge, capturing $479 million of the three-day total, Farside Investors reported. The fund's cumulative net inflows have now swelled to nearly $61 billion, reinforcing its position as the gravitational center of the spot Bitcoin ETF universe.
