BlackRock's Mitchnick: Bitcoin a Rising Store of Value Amid US Debt Concerns

BlackRock's digital-assets chief Robbie Mitchnick has expressed strong optimism for Bitcoin, stating that concerns over US debt and deficits are making it an increasingly appealing store of value alongside gold. This comes as investors agree with Mitchnick's assessment, evident in the recent surge in demand for Bitcoin ETFs.

According to recent reports, BlackRock has lowered the minimum amount required to convert BTC into shares of its IBIT ETF from $25 million to $1 million starting in July. This move is seen as a way to make it easier for investors to gain exposure to Bitcoin through the exchange-traded fund (ETF).

Meanwhile, data shows that Bitcoin ETFs have continued their seven-day inflow streak, adding $314.37 million in August and reducing year-to-date outflows by $3.03 billion.
