Block, the fintech company co-founded by Jack Dorsey, has boosted its Bitcoin holdings to 9,117 BTC following an acquisition of 234 BTC during the first half of 2026. This brings the total value of Block's corporate Bitcoin holdings to approximately $534 million as of June 30, down from about $777 million at the end of 2025 due to a sharp decline in Bitcoin prices.

The company recorded over $260 million in losses on its Bitcoin investments during the first half of 2026. Despite this, Block's second-quarter results showed continued momentum in its Cash App and Square businesses, helping offset weaker Bitcoin Ecosystem revenue.
