Block Street, a company at the intersection of institutional markets and on-chain capital systems, has been founded by technologists and quantitative finance professionals. The team combines expertise from traditional financial institutions with experience in Web3 infrastructure.
Hedy Wang, CEO & Co-Founder, previously led quantitative portfolio strategies at major Wall Street hedge funds and private equity firms, including Apollo and Point72's Cubist Systematic Strategies. She also served as Risk Lead at Capital One, where she oversaw the development of large-scale financial risk models.
Mike Wu, CTO & Co-Founder, is a systems engineer with experience leading large-scale infrastructure projects at Google and Cruise. He holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and was a global winner in ACM competitions.
