Securitize has secured significant investments from Blockchain Capital following its successful tokenization partnership. The platform, which went public through a SPAC merger on July 1, 2026, counts Blockchain Capital among its earliest customers.

The company's tokenization model was first tested with Blockchain Capital's Fund III between 2017 and 2019, creating the BCAP token. This early experiment demonstrated the potential of tokenized venture funds and later led to a Series B funding round in June 2021, where Blockchain Capital participated alongside Morgan Stanley.

Blockchain Capital now holds approximately 6% of Securitize's outstanding shares after rolling over its stakes following the SPAC merger. The company's public listing has also enabled it to tokenize over $4 billion in assets on its platform as of mid-2026, including BlackRock's BUIDL fund.

The BCAP token is set to transition to ZKsync infrastructure, marking a significant upgrade for the tokenized venture fund.
